EXCELLENT Based on 61 reviews Posted on Google Lars TautenhahnTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. A great place to start your hikes. It’s right on a lake that freezes over in the winter. The villa is stylishly decorated and has a panoramic sauna right next to it. We felt very at home, especially since the food was absolutely fantastic.Posted on Google Schröder Hair Salon & Beauty SalonTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful week over the New Year’s holiday; we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Michael and Karlo looked after us very well and fed us wonderfully—freshly baked bread in the mornings, and Karlo chopped up fruit salad for us every day. In the evenings, the two of them cooked delicious meals. Thank you for the all-inclusive package; our group got along great, we laughed a lot and had a great time from the very first moment. Even in the bathroom, everything was well organized… The rooms are cozy. A lovely rural retreat close to a lake and hiking trails, with plenty of space, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and bedrooms, and a welcoming host. The property also offered a sauna, canoes for rent, and barbecue facilities.Posted on Google Johannes HeinleTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. A wonderful week at Villa Björklund! The lakeside location is perfect for stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, or fishing. The highlight was the helicopter tour with an overnight stay and a hike back—an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to Michael, who spoiled us with his culinary delights, planned everything perfectly every day, and kept the mood lively with his stories. Highly recommended—we’ll be back!Posted on Google Torsten WarnkeTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. An outstanding host, tour guide, chef, and person. Michael not only planned every single stage of the trip with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail, but he was also simply fantastic as a host. With his friendly, open manner, he immediately made us feel welcome and took great care of us. Villa Björklund is super cozy and inviting. It felt like a second home, and we felt right at home immediately. As our tour guide, Michael led us on unforgettable adventures. Whether on snowshoe hikes, nature excursions, or while watching the Northern Lights—he truly inspired us with his knowledge and passion for Lapland. Michael is an absolutely top-notch host, and we are grateful for these unforgettable days. We had a fantastic time over the 2024–2025 New Year’s holiday amidst the beautiful natural surroundings of Villa Björklund in Swedish Lapland. Our host, Michael, is a true jack-of-all-trades and made our stay unforgettable. Every day had its own special highlights, such as ice fishing, a husky tour, a moose safari, or a snowmobile tour, and more. Even when the weather thwarted Plan A, he always had an interesting Plan B up his sleeve. There were also little surprises like a BBQ on the frozen lake, a sauna, treats, and much more. We definitely want to highlight the excellent food and the truly delicious dinners. Michael captivated us all with interesting stories about life in Lapland and created a very warm, family-like atmosphere. Warm small talk with the neighbors further underscored this. We also had a very nice group, so getting along in the two shared bathrooms was no problem at all. The rooms were freshly renovated, modern, and functionally furnished, and equipped with high-quality beds. Once again, we’d like to thank Michael for the wonderful time!!!Posted on Google Jochen KlTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. Last year, I was lucky enough to be part of the first “Ausgesetzt vom Heli” tour. What started as a spur-of-the-moment decision made on a whim turned into an amazing adventure with Michi and the rest of the group—one we still laugh about today. Physically, we thought we were in good shape, but that turned out to be a bit of a mistake (laughs). Hence the tip: know your physical limits. Well, we’d never hiked for such a long stretch before, let alone camped out in the wilderness. Here’s another shout-out to Michi, who stood by us with advice and support on everything from navigating with a compass to baking bread, using that little all-rounder, the “Trangia stove.” And also for the valuable tips on what kind of food to bring along on a trip like this (that was really no small feat). Here, we all demonstrated great team spirit and were able to distribute the “huge” pile of food, firewood, tents, and so on very well. Except for Christian’s good beer keg, which had to stay in the “stuga,” but was eventually emptied at the end. The weather was kind to us on the day we set off by helicopter, so we were able to enjoy the view very much. We were dropped off above a valley with a large lake in the middle. On the other side was a small village (at first glance… it turned out to be really far away), and all around were idyllic mountains with white snow-capped peaks. After landing, we first had to gather our bearings, determine our position with the compass and map, so we could pinpoint our destination for the day, about 12 km away. But 12 km just isn’t the same as 12 km here in the flatlands (HH). It goes up and down, through swamps, over extremely rocky terrain (not just small pebbles), snow-covered meadows, and much more. So by the end of the day, my knees were really shot. Damn, and that was just the first day (though it was only me who felt that way). We did take plenty of breaks along the way, though, and were able to enjoy the picturesque scenery. The homemade food, the new awesome location—which was also situated in a “new” valley—the team, the splash of rum in my tea (thanks, Falko), and maybe a painkiller helped me forget the pain in my knee. So I was ready for the next day… And I’ll stop here and give you this advice: if you’re in the mood for an adventure in a friendly atmosphere, you should book a tour with Michi. Many thanks, Michi, and see you on the next tour. Best regards, JochenVerified by: TrustindexThe Trustindex Verified badge is the universal symbol of trust.
